At Intermountain Health, Dr. Yates’ calm, reassuring demeanor helps him partner with each patient to guide them - mentally and physically - through this challenging stage of their health journey, which is often overwhelming and scary.Dr. Yates received his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University then completed residency at University of Kentucky and a fellowship in medical oncology at the University of Wisconsin. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with a subspecialty certification in Medical Oncology.
