Sammy Delizo, NP, began his medical career as a registered nurse in his native Hawaii, which has a rich tradition of respectfully caring for elders. After a while, he began to feel he had more to offer his community, so he returned to school and studied to become an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner. Sammy specializes in long-term care, nephrology, long-term acute care, senior care, and critical care nursing. He enjoys being a part of Intermountain Health because he shares the company’s core values regarding quality patient care. He strives to help patients realize their full potential and find the best versions of themselves. Sammy completed his undergraduate nursing studies at Hawaii Pacific University. He received his nurse practitioner degree from Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri, and is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. In his free time, Sammy enjoys reading, watching movies, and playing video games. He also has a love for music, which includes singing karaoke and collecting vintage vinyl records.
